DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY
The Industrial Chemistry department was established in 1997 as one of the subject in science and approved by UGC for the promotion of vocational courses. The department was initially funded by UGC. In 2002, the Industrial Chemistry has got permanent affiliation by the state government as a subject up to undergraduate level. Apart from graduate level Industrial Chemistry is also running at post graduate level since 2018. At present, the courses are on self-finance basis under the co-ordination of Dr. Vinay Kumar Pathak from the department of chemistry and besides him; Dr. Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Ms Annu Shri and Mr. Rahul Mishra are working as par time teachers.
The department has well equipped and furnished with laboratory which is enriched with advanced and sophisticated apparatus and scientific instruments including computers. Having huge number of relevant books and journals, the department also provides library facility to the students. The department is actively engaged in spreading the knowledge towards a broad spectrum in the fields of research and development in various industries. Every year, the college as well as department organizes the campus selection for the students by inviting different companies and industrial organizations. A number of students are serving the society by working at well reputed posts in many industrial organizations. The department of Industrial Chemistry is now leading dynamically in every corner of education and research.
