DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY

After the establishment of the Faculty of Science in all the five subjects, the profound thinker and the embodiment of our culture, Pt. Abhay Jeet Dubey laid stress upon the opening of the Faculty of Arts. With the establishment of the Faculty of Arts, was born the Department of Psychology in 1982. As a true karmyogi, our founder would consider Psychology as one of the subjects of Arts. Students of this rural area prefer psychology as one of their favorite subjects. The department has the maximum number of students. Presently two teachers, one lab assistant and one lab attendant are employed and working hard, from tooth to nail to make outstanding contribution for the department.

The Grants available from UGC, New Delhi are utilized to fully furnish chambers, office, store-room and laboratory. The department bears a new look. Standard books on the subject, which are useful for the students, have been stocked in the library. The department subscribes impartment reference-books for the teachers and research scholars alike. This is a very remarkable feature. A departmental library has been setup and stocked with books for those students who can not afford to buy books on their own.
